Identification and context

What to look for and why to address it.

Signs that may indicate an infestation

Live insects, shed skins and small dark marks around mattress seams, bed frames or upholstery support suspicion. Skin bites alone do not confirm bedbugs; similar symptoms can have other causes.

Why look for the cause too

Bedbugs can travel with belongings and luggage. Early identification helps address the problem before it spreads. A finding is nothing to be ashamed of and does not itself prove poor hygiene.

Look for small traces in seams and folds. Bites alone do not confirm bedbugs.

Process and follow-up

What to expect.

Assessment and agreed approach

Inspection focuses on findings and resting areas. Bedrooms, related rooms, moved belongings and previous attempts matter. We then define treatment scope and a plan to check results.

How many visits will be needed?

Bedbugs have different life stages and hidden shelters. One visit does not automatically promise a solution. The offer distinguishes initial treatment, any repeat treatment and result checks.

What to watch for after the visit

Record dates and locations of new findings. Agree further handling and cleaning according to the treatment instructions. If findings return, we follow up on previous evidence rather than bite counts alone.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions about suspected bedbugs

How can bed bugs in a flat be eliminated?

Treatment starts with confirming the infestation and inspecting hiding places. Depending on its extent, we select suitable non-chemical measures and, where needed, targeted treatment in line with the product label. We agree on preparation and a follow-up inspection in person; its findings determine whether further treatment is needed.

Do I need to be sure they are bedbugs?

No. Describe your observations and where and when they appeared. Suspicion is not confirmed identification; we clarify next steps after assessment.

Can I attach photos of the finding?

Photo uploads are not currently available. A description is enough for first contact; we will agree another way to send images.

How much does bedbug treatment cost?

At first contact, we clarify the problem. On site, we verify the scope and agree the approach and price before treatment. Bedbug pricing depends on infestation extent, property size and use, procedure, travel and any further visits.

How should I prepare and will another visit be needed?

Preparation and follow-up depend on the assessed situation and agreed procedure. We do not infer visit numbers from a description alone. Tell us previous measures and when access is possible.

What can I prepare for the first discussion?

List affected places, duration and products previously used. Mention children, animals, room use, stock and sensitive equipment. Arrange access. Moving items, washing or cleaning treated areas should follow specific instructions rather than a universal checklist.

What do I receive after the visit?

You receive a record of findings and work with instructions and agreed follow-up.

Is treatment safe for children and pets?

Conditions must match the method, premises and any product. Before starting, we confirm people and animal access, food and equipment protection and other restrictions. We cannot honestly promise “completely harmless” treatment without knowing these conditions.

When can I return and clean?

There is no single waiting time for every service. Specific instructions state when the premises can be used, whether ventilation is needed and which surfaces can be cleaned. These relate to the actual procedure; we give no universal time promise.

What if pests return?

Tell us the date, place and change since the previous visit. We follow up on its findings and recommendations.
